Category Battle
Pick one category you love. 15 questions, all from it, against someone who picked the same one.
Lightning
15 quick questions. Right answers and speed both count.
Buzzer
First right answer takes the point. Answer wrong and you're locked out.
Tug of War
Every right answer pulls the rope your way, and the faster right answer pulls one extra. Pull it 8 steps to win.
Sudden Death
Keep going until someone misses and the other gets it right. The clock gets shorter every question.
3 Strikes, You're Out!
A wrong answer or no answer is a strike. Keep playing until someone has 3 strikes. The clock gets a little shorter every question.
War!
Every 3 wrong answers load a Kill Shot: fire it and your opponent sits out the next question. Get 7 wrong and you earn a Nuke that cuts their score in half.
3 Strike Brawl
Nine innings, the normal clock. Three strikes and you're out, and it goes on until one player is left. Before every question: Grand Slam, Home Run, Sac Fly, DH or Clear the Dugout.
Last Man Standing
Normal question time. A wrong answer knocks you out, right answers keep you in. The last one standing wins.

Double Down
15 questions. Three times a battle, double down before you even see the question: right wins double points, wrong loses double.
Final Bet
10 questions, 100 points each. Then one final question where you bet as much of your score as you dare.
Heist
Get one right and you steal 10% of the leader's points. Get one wrong and 10% of yours drops into the vault. The fastest right answer on the last question cracks the vault.
Hot Potato
Someone always holds the bomb. Get it right to pass it on. Miss it and it blows up: you lose one of your 3 lives. Last one with lives left wins.
King of the Hill
The fastest right answer takes the crown. To keep it, the king has to be the fastest. Most seconds wearing the crown wins.
Bounty Hunter
The leader carries a bounty that grows every question they stay on top. Beat them on a question and you collect it.
Mystery Box
Every right answer opens a box. It could double your points, cut them in half, steal from the leader, or give you a shield.
Speed Chess
60 seconds on your clock for the whole game, and it only runs while you think. When it hits zero, you're done answering.
Pick Your Poison
Before each question pick Easy (2 answers, 50 points), Medium (100) or Hard (200, but wrong loses 100).
Survivor Vote
Every 3 questions the lowest score is out. In bigger battles, once 4 are left, the players still in vote someone out.
Ladder Climb
Every right answer is one rung up. A wrong one drops you to the last safe rung (3 or 6). First to the top of 10 wins.
Hangman
Every wrong answer draws one more part on your gallows: head, body, arms and legs. When the body is complete, you're out. Last one standing wins.
Blackout
Every question some answers go dark. The leader loses two, one other player loses one. You can still tap a dark answer if you dare.
Wager
Start with 1,000 points. See the category, place your bet, then win it or lose it.
Category Draft
Each of you picks a category and bans one. Then 10 questions from your picks.
Connect Four
Pick a column before every question. Get it right and your disc drops in. Four in a row wins.
Battleship
Your fleet hides on a grid. Aim before every question and a right answer fires. Sink their whole fleet first.
Bingo
Everyone gets a card of categories. A right answer dabs a square with that category. First line wins.
Closest Wins
Number questions: years, heights, counts. Type your guess. Spot on is 200, the closest guess 100.
Higher or Lower
Is the answer higher or lower than the number shown? Keep a streak going and every right one pays more.
Tic Tac Toe
Pick a square before every question. Get it right and it's yours. Three in a row wins a board, two boards win.
Jackpot Board
Five categories, 100 to 300 points. Pick a square, then answer. Right wins it, wrong loses half.
Snakes and Ladders
Every right answer rolls the die. Climb the ladders, dodge the snakes. First to square 30 wins.
Steal
Take turns answering. Miss on your turn and everyone else gets a few seconds to steal it.
Team Relay
Two teams of 2 or 4. Teammates take turns answering, and the team with more points wins.
Race to 100
The same 100 questions for both of you, at your own pace. First to the finish gets a bonus.
